2月17日，农历大年初一，在这充满喜庆与祝福的日子里，我们先后走进 Sydney Grammar School 与 Chatswood High School，为师生们带来了一场别开生面的中国新年文化体验活动，与大家一同迎接充满希望的马年新春。

On 17 February, the first day of the Chinese New Year, a day filled with joy and blessings, we visited Sydney Grammar School and Chatswood High School, bringing students and teachers a vibrant and memorable Chinese New Year cultural experience as we welcomed the promising Year of the Horse together.

An Immersive Chinese New Year Experience

在活动中，学生们体验了：

腰鼓表演与互动 —— 随着鼓声的节奏，大家感受到了中国传统节日的热闹与活力。

投壶游戏 —— 古老有趣的民间活动，让同学们在欢笑中了解中华文化的趣味与智慧。

整个活动现场充满欢声笑语，学生们踊跃参与，感受到了浓浓的新年喜庆，也近距离体验了中华文化的独特魅力。

During the activities, students took part in a range of engaging experiences, including:

• Waist Drum Performance and Interaction — Moving to the rhythm of the drums, students felt the energy and festive spirit of traditional Chinese celebrations.

  
  

• Pitch-Pot (Touhu) Game — This ancient and entertaining folk activity allowed students to discover the fun and wisdom of Chinese culture through laughter and participation.

  
  

The venue was filled with joy and excitement as students actively joined in the activities, experiencing the strong festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year and gaining a close, hands-on appreciation of the unique charm of Chinese culture.

Lion Dance Brings New Year Blessings to 

Chatswood High School

在 Chatswood High School，我们特别邀请了专业舞狮团队走进校园，为全校师生带来精彩纷呈的舞狮表演。

锣鼓齐鸣、瑞狮腾跃，现场气氛热烈非凡，欢呼声此起彼伏。舞狮不仅为新年增添了喜庆色彩，也让学生们近距离感受了中国传统艺术的震撼与魅力。

At Chatswood High School, we specially invited a professional lion dance troupe to perform on campus, presenting a spectacular and lively lion dance show for students and teachers.

With the sound of gongs and drums echoing through the campus and the lions leaping energetically, the atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and excitement. The lion dance added a strong festive touch to the Chinese New Year celebrations and gave students a close-up experience of the power, beauty, and charm of traditional Chinese performing arts.

中国新年不仅是一种节日，更是一扇了解中国文化的重要窗口。通过走进校园、面对面的文化交流，我们希望让更多澳大利亚学生在真实、生动的体验中感受中华文化的温度，激发他们学习中文、了解中国的兴趣。

The Chinese New Year is not only a celebration, but also an important window into Chinese culture. By bringing cultural experiences onto school campuses and engaging in face-to-face exchange, we hope to offer Australian students authentic and meaningful encounters with Chinese culture, inspiring their interest in learning Chinese and gaining a deeper understanding of China.
