4月29日，为庆祝2026年国际中文日，Sydney HSK Centre走进了Strathfield Girls High School，协助组织开展了一场文化主题活动。活动融合文化展演、沉浸体验与互动学习于一体，内容丰富、形式多样，为该校师生带来了一场精彩纷呈的中华文化盛宴，也让大家在真实、生动的体验情境中感受中文及中华文化的独特魅力。

On 29 April, to celebrate International Chinese Language Day 2026, Sydney HSK Centre visited Strathfield Girls High School to assist   in organising a cultural themed event. Featuring cultural performances, immersive experiences, and interactive learning activities, the event offered students and teachers a vibrant showcase of Chinese culture. Through authentic and engaging hands-on experiences, participants had the opportunity to explore the unique charm of the Chinese language and culture in a lively and meaningful way.

一 开幕致辞

活动伊始，主持人向现场师生介绍了国际中文日的由来与意义。

随后，在热烈的氛围中，Strathfield Girls High School 的校长Mechel Pikoulas女士、中国驻悉尼总领事馆教育事务参赞衔领事林晓青女士、及Strathfield市市长 Cr Benjamin Cai先生先后致辞，对国际中文日活动的举办表示热烈祝贺，高度肯定了中文教育在促进中澳文化交流、增进互相理解中的重要意义，并鼓励同学们学好中文，拓宽国际视野，积极做中澳人文交流的使者。

The event commenced with an introduction by the hosts to the origins and significance of International Chinese Language Day. This was followed by opening remarks from Ms. Mechel Pikoulas, Principal of Strathfield Girls High School; Ms. Lin Xiaoqing, Counsellor-rank Consul for Education Affairs of Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Sydney; and Cr Benjamin Cai, Mayor of Strathfield Council.

They extended their warm congratulations on the successful staging of the event, highly commended the important role of Chinese language education in promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding, and encouraged students to learn Chinese, broaden their international perspectives, and become active ambassadors for cultural exchange between China and Australia.

二 传统艺术汇演

致辞结束后，一系列中国传统艺术表演正式开始。川剧变脸精彩开场，随后京剧表演、苗族舞蹈、古琴演奏、剑舞、太极展示与腰鼓表演等节目轮番呈现。

活动特别设置了文化导赏环节。主持人在每个节目开始前，结合其艺术特色、历史渊源及文化内涵进行简要介绍，引导现场师生在欣赏表演的同时，进一步加深对中华优秀传统文化的理解。

各类节目从不同艺术形式与文化视角，多维度展现了中华文化的深厚底蕴与独特魅力。整场演出兼具艺术观赏性与文化启发性，为现场师生带来了一场内容丰富、层次多元的文化体验，进一步激发了大家学习中文、了解中国文化的兴趣与热情。

Following the opening remarks, a vibrant showcase of traditional Chinese performing arts officially commenced. The programme opened with the spectacular face-changing performance of Sichuan Opera, followed by Peking Opera, Miao ethnic dance, guqin performance, sword dance, Tai Chi demonstration, and waist drum performance, each captivating the audience in turn.

A special cultural commentary segment was incorporated throughout the performances. Before each presentation, the hosts offered brief introductions to its artistic characteristics, historical origins, and cultural significance, guiding students and staff to gain a deeper appreciation of the richness of traditional Chinese culture while enjoying the performances.

Presented through diverse artistic forms and cultural perspectives, the performances highlighted the profound heritage and unique charm of Chinese civilisation. Combining artistic excellence with cultural insight, the showcase offered the audience a rich and multi-layered cultural experience, further inspiring their enthusiasm for learning Chinese and exploring Chinese culture.

三 中华文化互动体验工坊

当天活动的最后一部分为中华文化互动体验工坊，学生们分组参与了多项沉浸式文化体验活动，在“做中学”的过程中加深对中国文化的理解与感知。

中华文化互动体验工坊，内容丰富多样，包括汉服与京剧水袖体验、投壶舞龙、太极课堂、幸运手链制作以及青花瓷绘画制作等传统文化活动。各项目兼具趣味性与教育性，既注重文化传承，也强调动手实践与创造表达，全面提升学生的参与感与体验感。

The final part of the event featured an interactive Chinese cultural workshop, where students participated in a range of immersive hands-on activities in groups, deepening their understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture through experiential learning.

The workshop offered a rich variety of activities, including Hanfu dress-up and Peking Opera water-sleeve experience, pitch-pot and dragon dance activities, Tai Chi classes, lucky bracelet making, and blue-and-white porcelain painting. Combining educational value with interactive enjoyment, each activity emphasised both cultural heritage and creative expression, providing students with a highly engaging and enriching cultural experience.

本次国际中文日活动在热烈且充实的氛围中，圆满落幕。

此次活动不仅为师生们提供了一次沉浸式的文化体验之旅，也搭建了中外文化交流与友谊沟通的桥梁。未来，我们将继续推动中文学习与中华文化传播，让更多澳大利亚的青少年在交流互鉴中增进理解、收获成长，共同促进文明的多样性与世界的和谐发展。

The International Chinese Language Day celebration concluded successfully in a vibrant and fulfilling atmosphere.

The event not only provided students and staff with an immersive journey into Chinese culture, but also served as a bridge for intercultural exchange and mutual friendship. Looking ahead, we will continue to promote Chinese language learning and the sharing of Chinese culture, enabling more young people in Australia to deepen their understanding and grow through cultural exchange, while contributing to greater cultural diversity and harmony in our world.
